Erin and I ran the same route as last Saturday. It was a little easier for me--I think because it was in the morning. Runs seem easier in the morning. | Add Comment |

| Walked again at the indoor track. Well, Sarah N. and I did run a little bit, but the kids needed more attention today. I did lunges again later. | Add Comment |

| Sarah N., the kids, and I had a great time at the indoor track. Sarah and I were able to get in thirty minutes of running! I brought the jogging stroller for Will. That seemed to help keep Will happier and me running. I guess our stroller days aren't over yet! | Add Comment |

| I ran slow and steady. There was a lot of wind, but it didn't bother me. It wasn't like the cold bitter winds of last winter. I'm sure those winds are coming. | Add Comment |

| I did an hour of yoga today. It was harder today than ten days ago. My belly has grown a lot over the past week. | Add Comment |

| Erin and I had our first chilly Saturday run. With the windchill, it was 25 degrees. It didn't feel too bad if you weren't running into the wind. We still enjoyed ourselves. I did have to walk for a moment. I was just over a half a mile into the run. I had some muscle pain on the inside of my hip. Luckily, it went away. | Add Comment |

| I'm not sure how far Sarah N. and I run at the indoor track. We ran for just over thirty minutes--so probably two and a half miles at least. | Add Comment |

I baby-sat a family of five kids while there parents went to Chicago. Will had a great time playing with the other kids. Overall it was fun, but I was exhausted once it was just Will, Lars, and me again. I'm glad your own kids come one at a time and that they start so small. | Add Comment |

| I ran outside this afternoon. I ran the whole time. When I was pregnant with Will and 19 weeks, I couldn't run the whole time. But, this pregnancy I can! It's always nice to feel stronger. I am looking forward to my race on Thanksgiving. | Comments(1) |

| I caught Will's odd stomach bug. I threw-up a bit and didn't run much. I just wanted to sleep. We delayed going to my parents for Thanksgiving by a day. My husband got it, too. The stomach bug turned into a nasty cold which lasted the whole time we were at my parents. Hopefully, next time we go to their house we won't be sick. | Add Comment |

| I went with my parents to the Y. I ran about 2.5 miles on a treadmill and then spent 10 minutes on the eliptical machine. Eight of those minutes I got to hang out with my mom. She was on the machine next to me. I lifted, too--shoulders and triceps. | Add Comment |

| This run was tough. I stopped to walk off a bad side ache. I felt very slow. | Add Comment |

I had a blast. My husband, Lars, and dad also participated in the race. Lars was going to "run" the whole race with me. After the first mile, I finally convinced him to take off. (He was much happier running faster.) I only know my first split--11:19. I didn't want to run that slow, so I picked up the pace. I did have another side ache during the first mile, but I "ran" through it. I was very happy that I could run the whole race especially being so sick the week before.
That afternoon, I played basketball and soccer with the family. (My brothers and their families were in town, too). I over did it a bit. Lars reminded me that we didn't want to have the baby that afternoon, so I sat down and took it easy the rest of the day and weekend.

I'm signing off for a while.
My husband and I are pleased to announce that our family of 3 will become a family of 5 this spring. Our ultrasound yesterday (December 8th) revealed not one, but two healthy, identical twin boys. I plan on continuing to exercise (water aerobics?), but this race was my last run for this pregnancy. I hope to deliver the babies as close to their due date (April 12th) as possible. | Comments(4) |
