My neighbor goes walking with a friend at the track.  I thought I'd go with them and run while they were there.

I tried it this morning.  It's not going to work out.  They don't go early enough for me.  And running in circles isn't very exciting.

So in some ways the run was good.  I did feel good during my run.  My energy was good.  My pace felt strong.  It was definitely under 12 minutes.  I don't know how under.  I didn't want to spend a lot of time looking at my watch.  I wanted to enjoy my pace and I did. I wasn't stressed about strangers.  The weather was nice and cool.  But, it wasn't quite early enough for me.  And I wasn't a fan of the circles.

I'd like to go running at 6 or 6:15, but it's pretty dark.  Saturday I'm going to meet up with a local club and see if I can't meet a group to go running with during the week.
