Will and I had a very enjoyable run outside!  Will pointed out buses and water (the Iowa River) many times.  My new shoes felt great.  The weather was wonderful: sunny and 39 degrees with NO WIND!  Over the winter, I did forget how much harder hills are with the jogging stroller.  I felt strong despite the tougher work out.

Great job on your tempo run yesterday! I bet you sped up because you were just getting warmed up. Maybe before you run your next tempo run, you could do a mile or two of warming up at a very comfortable pace. That's what I did before my last race and it made SUCH a difference in how I felt in that first mile.

And great job today! Hills with a jogging stroller feels like sprinting up Everest, in my experience.

Lybi, the weird thing about yesterday is I did my usual mile and a half warm up before my tempo run. And after my that first half a mile, I got slower. Very mysterious, huh?
