Right now it's -4 degrees and it feels like -21 degrees.  There's a wind chill advisory until Sunday night.  I didn't know what that meant, so I looked it up on weather.com.

A WIND CHILL ADVISORY MEANS THAT VERY COLD AIR AND STRONG WINDS WILL COMBINE TO GENERATE LOW WIND CHILLS... RESULTING IN FROST BITE AND HYPOTHERMIA IF PRECAUTIONS ARE NOT TAKEN. IF YOU MUST VENTURE OUTDOORS... DRESS IN LAYERS COVERING EXPOSED SKIN. FROSTBITE WILL OCCUR IN A FEW AS 20 MINUTES IN THESE CONDITIONS.

I'll let you know later what I decide to do.

With the indoor track closed for a track meet, I decided to lift weights.  I started the workout with 130 juming jacks.  I did triceps, shoulders, back, legs, and abs.  It took about 50 minutes.  Felt good to do something different.

The high today was 1 degree, but it felt like -15 degrees.

Aaaaaaaugh!!! That is definitely snuggle down with hot chocolate weather, NOT run outside weather. You have been doing a great job of surviving the winter, Adrianne. Keep up the fabulous work!

oh my goodness! You are talking about some serious cold! Hope that doesn't hang around too long, but try and stay warm and the running can wait!

Oh my- you're a trooper! When does it start to warm up in Iowa City?
