I did another tempo run.  I can't believe how out of shape I am, but whatever.  Nothing is lost that I can work to get back... eventually.

Pretty humid today--79%.  But, it's very cloudy and a wonderful breeze.  It's a lovely 79 degrees that feels like 82 (so I am told).  Needless to say, I was dripping sweat when I was done.

I pushed the run, probably more so than a true tempo run.  It felt good to go fast.  I tried to treasure the moment since it will be a while until before I'll feel fast again.  I did pay for the fast pace a bit.  A half a mile into my cool down, I felt pretty sick.  But, the sickness has mostly subsided now (thirty minutes after the run).

Here are my mile splits.

8:31--a bug flew in my eye

8:39--finally got the bug out

I really enjoyed the run.  I hope to squeeze in a few more tempo runs before I become too slow.  We'll see what pans out.
