Will and I ran 3 miles with Jade.  Jade went home to get ready for work and Will and I ran 2.8 more.  I felt very slow on the hills, but we enjoyed the run.

Here's my Eclipse scoop, but it will spoil the book if you haven't read it.

I finished Eclipse Saturday, so much for finishing it in five days.  Overall I liked it.  I can't believe how selfless Edward it.  I liked the Frost poem and the magnet symbolism.  I kept waiting for the battle to happen and was surprised Jacob and Edward kept having face offs.  Seriously, for three chapters I kept thinking the next chapter would be the battle chapter.  I was anticipating a character dying and was curious who's it would be.  I wasn't expecting Jacob's or Edward's death but, Leah or maybe Seth would disobey orders and join the fight.  I did enjoy Edward and Jacob's conversation in the tent.  I was surprised that Bella loved Jacob--I believed Bella the whole time.  I loved Edward being the "interpreter" for the pack and how reading the pack's minds was like a soap opera.  I thought the paragraph about Edward and Alice playing chess was funny.  I enjoyed the battle scene.  No one died, and I was okay with that.  I am glad that Edward and Bella are keeping their virtue.  I feel good about Bella's decision to have a wedding to say good-bye to her parents and Forks.

I can't wait to find out Bella's superpower.  Maybe her power will be whoever she focuses on will be immune to mental powers.  Like Jane won't be able to hurt Edward as long as Bella is there to block Jane from entering Edward's mind.  Or Bella will disable anyone's mental powers in the room.  That could be a good thing and a bad thing.  I guess all the powers come with an upside and a downside.  Anyone have guess on what Bella's vampire power will be?  Do you have a new guess, Lybi, now that you've finished Eclipse or are you still waiting to get your book back?

Other Eclipse questions on my mind:

Will Jacob come back?  Will he try to stop the wedding?--I think he will, but I don't think he will stop the wedding.  At least I don't think he will.  I mean, isn't that what all of Eclipse was about?  Bella choosing Edward once and for all.

What will happen with the packs and Cullen coven team work/friendliness?  Will the Volturi discover it and declare war on the "team?"

First book: Finding love

Second book: Losing love

Third book: Choosing love

Fourth book: ???

It will be interesting to see. And it will be very interesting to see how Jacob fits in to it all. I love these books!

Maybe sealing or binding love? I imagine book 4 will include the wedding. I can't believe you could summarize the books in two words. I never would have thought of that.

I have a different take on this (yes I have read the books too) - I think that instead of Bella becoming a vampire, that Edward is going to somehow become transformed into a human again. Don't ask me how, but to me Bella becoming a vampire does not make for a really happy ending. Yes, she would be able to be with Edward forever, but maybe there is something about the wedding (I have the sense that the wedding will be towards the end of the book and will preface something huge happening). That's my prediction and I'm sticking to it.

I'm glad you guys are having fun talking about those books. I didn't read your whole blog because I don't want to know what happens...I'm sure I'll read them someday. Thanks for the ideas on Sunday. I do some of those things with my kids too but somedays I think I get bored because I don't feel like doing anything but my kids still want to do something and we end up being little bored. Next Sunday we have some friends coming over and that is always good for us because we don't get to do a lot of socilizing during the week (except on the blog :)

The pic of your family is adorable! I was reading your PRs too- nice ones. Like you 8:17 is about the pace I need to beat in my 5ks, but my 10ks and longer are considerably slower than yours. You'd be a good running partner to motivate me- if you weren't in Iowa! So keep blogging! Is your husband the one in grad school, what's he studying? It was hard to look at your blog and not read about Eclipse- I'll have to come back later!

I can't take the credit for summarizing the books above...my cousin said she read it somewhere (website?). I like James' idea...I guess we will have to wait another year to see!

What is this Eclipse book? I've never heard of it, but it sounds good. I've always wanted to join a book club-looks like this blog can kill two birds with one stone!
